Stop Using Plastic! By Chin Hao

I believe that people should ban plastic because it is bad for the environment and animals.
The first reason is when plastic goes to the landfill when it rains it makes leachate, this poison comes out of plastic it can go into land and rivers and can kill animals.
Second reason is it can make you sick. For example if a fish eats a piece of plastic , then the squid eat the fish ,then the tuna eats the squid ,then the tuna is caught ,then the plastic chemicals are in your food that you eat!
The third reason is a lot of plastic waste gets burned. if you burn it it pollute the air.  This pollution cause global warming, it can melt the ice and can this can cause loss of habitat for animals.
The forth reason is if you throw it on the ground it can fly into rivers and one day it will find a way into the ocean and it looks terribly disgusting! In The ocean there is so much plastic and very unkind to animals and can make animals ill or tangled up. If animals eat plastic they will starve to death because they will feel full and don’t eat anymore food.   
In conclusion :I believe that they should ban plastic because people are making too much plastic and you should use reusable bags and lunch boxes .Plastic is bad for the environment and also bad for animals because they might think it is food for example turtle might think plastic bags are jellyfish and 100,000 fishes,  1,000,000 seabirds,100,000,000 marine animals die each year by plastic. Stop using single use plastic...or ban it!
